# Add Manually

> Enter name, colours, font, and button shape in Add Brand

# Add Manually

**Manual** (in the **Add Brand** dialog) lets you create a brand kit without fetching a website. You enter the essentials — name, primary and secondary colours, a web-safe font, and button shape — then Brandblox creates the brand and opens the editor so you can finish Details, Voice, Typography, and the rest.

Use this when the site is not ready to fetch, extract would be thin, or you already know the palette and type choices. Prefer [Add from URL](/brands/add-from-url) when a public homepage can seed a fuller draft.

## Steps

1. Open **Brands** → **Add Brand**.
2. Choose the **Manual** tab.
3. Fill in the fields below and submit.
4. The new brand opens in the editor for polish.

## Fields

| Field | What it sets |
| - | - |
| **Name** | Display name for the brand (required) |
| **Logo** | Optional icon/logo upload (stored as a data URL for now) used as the brand mark on the list and Details |
| **Colours** | **Primary** and **Secondary** hex values. More colours can be added on the [Colours](/brands/colours) tab after create |
| **Font** | Web-safe family for the brand (Arial, Helvetica, Georgia, Verdana, or Times New Roman). Add Google Fonts later on [Fonts](/brands/fonts) |
| **Buttons** | Shape for starter CTAs: **Square**, **Rounded**, or **Pill**. Primary button colours use your Primary hex; refine styles on [Buttons](/brands/buttons) |

## After create

* Confirm [Details](/brands/details) (website and favicon if you have them).
* Expand [Colours](/brands/colours) and [Fonts](/brands/fonts) beyond the starters.
* Set [Typography](/brands/typography), [Voice](/brands/voice), and guideline [Assets](/brands/assets) as your team needs them.
