Colours

The Colours tab holds the brand’s named palette. Swatches feed brand guidelines and are available when you style buttons and other brand-aware surfaces in Brandblox. Use Colours when you are reviewing an Add from URL draft, locking primary/secondary/supporting colours, or updating hex values after a rebrand.

Add and manage swatches

  • Add named swatches (solid fills with hex). Typical kit: Primary, Secondary, plus supporting colours.
  • Cards show name, HEX, and RGB / CMYK readouts for solids; gradient fills show type when used.
  • Reorder and rename as needed. Use ⋯ to edit or delete.
  • Hex values influence button defaults and list previews — keep primary colours accurate.

Review tips

  • URL onboarding may seed colours from the homepage — always review contrast for accessibility and brand fidelity.
  • Prefer clear names your team already uses (“Primary”, “Accent”) over opaque labels.
  • Pair Colours with Fonts and Buttons so CTAs and type stay consistent with the palette.
